It utilizes two-way communication technology which allows you to connect to and control your garage door opener, gate operators, or home lights by using an Internet-enabled computer or mobile phone from anywhere in the world.

Just imagine if you forgot to close your garage door, need to let the service or repairman in when you’re not at home, or you are on vacation or at the office. LiftMaster MyQ® technology gives you control from anywhere!

How It WorksThe LiftMaster® Internet Gateway (model 828LM) works with garage door opener model 8550 and 8360 (these models have a yellow learn button), and gate operator models CSW24V, CSL24V and LA500. Models 8550 and CSW24V shown below.

User your Internet-enabled mobile device or computer to connect remotely to the LiftMaster® Internet Gateway. The Gateway then communicates with the garage door opener or gate operator to open or close, or communicates to home lights to turn them on or off.
